Main Research Activity Ø Epidemiology and biological control of olive knot disease; Ø Epidemiology, diagnosis and control of bacterial diseases of cultivated mushrooms; Ø Novel methods (i.e. biological control, antagonists, induced resistance, natural bactericides, etc.,) for the control of bacterial diseases of plants; Ø Chemical and Biological characterization of metabolites of phytopathogenic bacteria involved in the host-pathogen interaction; Ø Biochemical, physiological and molecular characterization of phytopathogenic pseudomonads and xanthomonads; Ø Epidemiology of phytopathogenic bacteria; molecular diagnosis tools for identification of phytopathogenic bacteria.
